This is not the alcohol you drink (but it might help during the treatments), but rubbing alcohol is a great option to eliminate swimmer’s ear as naturally as possible. Similar to the peroxide previously mentioned, the alcohol is capable of entering the ear canal and destroying the living organisms causing the infection. Consider dropping about five or so drops into the ear with the infection and allow the alcohol to remain in the ear for about one minute. Move your head gently around to allow the alcohol to move around and soak in the entire canal for best results. Once you finish your treatment, tilt your head to allow the alcohol to exit the ear.
