2. Vigorous physical activity
When individuals engage in strenuous physical activity, they may sometimes experience heart palpitations. While palpitations can occur either before or after exercise, they are rare during the workout.
As the heart rate increases during a workout routine, the palpitations or fluttering feeling diminishes. Once the workout is done, palpitations may return as adrenaline levels remain high for some time as the heart gradually slows down.
Changing up the types of exercises done can actually help identify if there is a change in the occurrence or frequency of the palpitations.
