Helps fight obesity
Vitamin D can help you fight obesity, assuming that you are not regularly eating unhealthy foods and not engaging in exercise. The less vitamin D that you consume, the more likely it is that you will become over weight (this is of course looking at averages, and there are always exceptions to the rule).
Research and studies have shown that those who don’t take in as much vitamin D generally have much higher body-fat levels which can result in heart disease and stroke. This is possibly a result of those who see less sunshine generally doing less exercise.
