Banana Ice Cream
When you are craving ice cream but want to avoid the fatty diary, there is a perfect alternative. By just freezing a banana and then throwing it in the blended with a bit of coconut sugar, water and even a little soy milk you have the perfect ice cream with none of the guilt. This treat is perfect for hot summer days and the kids will love it. You can dress it up with toppings if you prefer but keeping in mind the calorie count of what you add in. Highly recommended would be shredded coconut or granola for extra fibre. For an extra sweetness, adding extra fruit such as mango or peace is never a bad idea.
