2. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera contains natural compounds that soothe the skin and counteract the itch. It also helps to reduce swelling and inflammation. If you have a tube of Aloe vera gel, simply apply the gel to the affected area. If you have access to an Aloe vera plant, break off a leaf. Slit it lengthways with a knife, scrape out the inner gel and apply this to the rash. You can store any excess gel in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a few days. Whatever you use, be careful not to rub too hard when applying the gel because this will aggravate the rash. Keep applying the Aloe vera gel every few hours until you experience relief.
