9. Toxic shock syndrome

Toxins produced by the S. aureus or the streptococcus bacteria often result in complications of bacterial infections called toxic shock syndrome. This condition does not only affect menstruating women but all people of various ages including children and men.

People inflicted with this condition feel, headache, muscle pain, and nausea. They also experience confusion, diarrhea, sudden fever, rash, low blood pressure, and seizures.
