2. Hot Compress
One of the simplest and most common treatments for an eye stye is to apply a hot compress. The heat helps to increase circulation in the eyelid, drawing out the infection and soothing the pain and discomfort. The simplest compress can be a clean towel dipped in hot water. Wring it out, place it over the infected eye and hold it there for five minutes. Repeat three to four times a day until the stye subsides and any pus stops coming out. Wipe away the pus with a clean tissue dipped in a disinfectant.
