9. Baking Soda
Baking soda can help to draw out the toxins from poison oak and help to reduce the itch and pain. Simply mix some baking soda with clean water to make a smooth paste. Apply this paste to the affected skin and leave until it dries. Peel off the dry paste and reapply another layer. Keep on applying until you experience relief. You can also try mixing the baking powder with cold coffee and using the paste in the same way. Coffee contains chlorogenic acid, which is a natural anti-inflammatory and it can help to reduce the swelling and discomfort.
