Drink plenty of fluids
One of the most common concerns regarding vertigo is dehydration. In fact, a rather common cause of vertigo that worsens with a change in position is dehydration. Even mild dehydration can cause dizziness and dehydration can cause blood pressure to drop which once again comes with a feeling of dizziness, and hence a vicious cycle. So, it is important to make sure that the individual is drinking sufficient fluids, especially water.
At the same time, avoid tobacco and alcohol since these substances can affect circulation and aggravate vertigo.
